Overview

AUNDH INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES (AIMS) is a registered charitable trust engaged in the activity of providing world class healthcare to the general public at affordable rates. The trust was formed in 2003 by people from all walks of life that includes eminent doctors who have phenomenal authority and unparallel track record in this field.

“AIMS” is located on the west side of Pune at Aundh, which is inarguably the most developing & major part of Pune and which is close proximity to locations like Wakad, Baner, Balewadi, Pimple Saudagar and even Pune University.

The trust plans to develop a 250 bed multi specialty hospital in 2 phases of which the 1st phase will consist of 100 beds.

Promoters

Dr. M. S. Hiremath
Dr. M.S. Hiremath is a world reputed interventional Cardiologist. He is currently the Director of Cath Lab at the prestigious Ruby Hall, Pune, India. He joined Ruby Hall in 1982 and did first bypass with Dr. Bhatu. He has been pioneer cardiologist for interventions with Dr. David Cumberland from England during his many visits to Ruby Hall in late 80s.

Presently

Mr.Gokul Gaikwad
Mr.Gaikwad is a Commerce Graduate from the Progressive Education Society, Pune. He is the founder Trustee and Treasurer of Aundh Institute of Medical Sciences, Executive officer Maharastra Government since 2004.
After having completed his education in the field of commerce he joined the family business in Real Estate development. Since then he has developed many prestigious project in Pune city.
Mr.Gaikwad is a Social Entrepreneur and has to his credit many social projects for the upliftment of the lower strata of the society.
His family has been in the politics and has undertaken projects in the area they belong to,namely Aundh, which include, infrastructure,water treatment, slum rehabilitation,beutification, aforestation, issues catering to gerontology. Apart from this they have been instrumental in creating gardens, temples etc.
This has culminated in to his vision to create the Public private partnership in the healthcare sector , which will cater to the lower middle income groups in and around the Aundh and Baner area.
